Yep, I saw the thread about Rick Harrison. I also saw him on Fox News.
Pawn Stars is another one of our favorite shows. We really love the Old Man!
Mrs p6and her co-workers are doomed by obamacare! They work for a company that expidites insurance for companies and small businesses. Think of a huge tech/computer company and a very rich tech guy. His product is on almost every pc sold. They handle that company as well as The Guy personally. Mrs p6 had a chance to speak with him briefly.
They mostly handle smallish businesses though but of course that may soon go away.

Oh no! You know, my brother-in-law works for an insurance company. He works from home. I wonder how he will be affected? Never thought about that. His wife has been looking for another job. She’s seriously underemployed. She’s got an MBA and works at the service desk at Lowes. She’s sending out all kinds of resumes and can’t even get an interview! We’re wondering if it’s age. She’s in her mid-forties. Geez, she’s got a 7 year old I hardly call her ‘old’! Of course, everybody under 50 looks young to me!
Remember the Cake Boss thing? Yesterday mrs p6 had me go to Giant Eagle to get one for her brother’s birthday. At the GE bakery I asked and the clerk didn’t have a clue. I think he was new.
So I got a lump of chocolate fudge cake and that had to do.
Now she says I was in the wrong department. Instead of bakery I should have been in frozen foods!
$25+ for a frozen cake?! I don’t think so!

Sneakers is right...Mrs. P6’s workplace sounds really fun. Mine, not so much:-/ but, I could see the venue that Q&R were at last night (I worked til 8) and can see the parking lot of the the hall they spoke at. Looked packed.
Our Busy Beaver had some really cool solar flowers too. Are the ones at Dollar General the ones that change colors?
Yep...our Big Bird had a pretty big display. Next to youngest turned 19 last weekend...so I was thinking “special” cake. When I saw the price I opted for DQ (had a coupon) and I KNEW he would love that. I want to say they were $25.99.
No they just dance like the monkeys and bears. Maybe 3-4” tall. Still pretty cool.
I refuse to fill out anything related to BO care! Come and get me copper!
