Years ago, I was with my scouts swimming in the Suwanee river in Florida near the crystal springs. There were said to sometimes be manatees in the river.
From the tree arching out over the river one of the scouts raised the hue and cry......Manatee, manatee!! The scouts ran up the tree to look.
