This guy has been a state senator since 2008 and is pretty solid and is a good candidate.

DeMint is tied to the GOP and no one in the GOP is going to endorse against an incumbent like RINO. Not even Palin does that. No one endorses against an incumbent.

The challenger will be on their own. He will have to work hard around the state reaching out to primary voters and we must have his back and help him raise the money to compete.

Forget about endorsements. It won’t happen. The GOP will close ranks and always do when there’s an incumbent. It’s down to the candidate and his supporters to get out there and convince the primary voters.

Lindsey won’t need any help from GOPe types, he has $10m!!

But he’s a walking disaster and i’m confident if we get him into a campaign he will trip himself up and p^ss off enough people.

His support is soft and I can’t imagine him having much of a grassroots in the state. If Bright can build an effective grassroots operation and drag him into a campaign and who knows even get him into the debates he might catch fire. Under these circumstances it doesn’t matter how much Graham spends it might not save him. Dewhurst spent a fortune in Texas and it didn’t stop Cruz. Lugar and Bob Bennett had millions in campaign cash too but they were defeated. It can happen.

“I really, really pray we can get every Freeper behind this effort and every poster at every other grassroots conservative website because this will be an enormous effort.....”
**********************************************************************
I hope we can pull this off and get rid of this weak sister. He’s a disgrace to Republicans in a conservative state such as South Carolina.

I’ll be supporting his best primary opponent. It actually won’t hurt for there to be multiple Republican challengers if that helps keep him from getting the 50% needed to avoid a primary—and thereby needing to go to a run-off. A run-off is the best chance to defeat him—similar to the approach Ted Cruz’ took to defeat RINO David Dewhurst (the GOPe candidate) in Texas.

It will be important that a competitive ‘Rat primary is held also so the Dem’s get out in vote in that primary (thus making them ineligible to vote in a SC Republican run-off if I’m understanding SC election law correctly).

Unfortunately, with his name recognition and large campaign war chest, little Lindsey will be difficult to knock off—but it’s definitely possible. It will be important that ALL true conservatives be dedicated to getting rid of this fraud who betrays conservatives at every opportunity.

Yes, it’s an uphill battle but definitely doable if the right candidate is prepared to drive all over the state and meet the voters and make his case.

Graham has been sanctioned by several counties in SC so there will be a nice source of in-state activists who will likely help in a grassroots effort.

Lindsey relies on his name recognition, the fact that he’s been around forever and that he can use his war chest and influence in Congress to buy loyalty from county chairman and party stalwarts.

To knock him off you need to generate excitement, an actual race and wake up the voters and overwhelm his “soft” supporters, the kind who turn out even when it’s only him on the ballot! If there’s an actual race then we can outnumber them. I dont think he has any grassroots... how could he? he’s terrible!

Is Trey Goudy a RINO? He seems to be in Grahamnesty’s camp. I am concerned since he is head of the House immigration committee.

I’ve no idea but every elected official will support/endorse the incumbent no matter what. That’s how the GOP works.

>>I doubt Dems will want to vote in a GOP primary.
>>They might also want to boost the challenger thinking they can beat him (which they can’t) in November.

The Dems voted for Graham last time when the Dems didn’t run a candidate in the primary (which is how Conley was able to run as a dem). Since it’s pretty much a given that whoever wins the GOP primary wins the general, the dhimmi’s are NOT going to vote for a conservative. The SC Dems are already on record calling Graham “the best Democrat they could hope to elect”.

“Is this guy the one to do it..and also win the general election?”

We don’t know. Let’s hold a primary election and see who shows up. South Carolina has a good farm team of conservatives and patriots. Join us and give us your input.
