A tough one to hit, but Japan will at least will be on battle readiness status against North Korea, which is good and North Korea (especially Fat Boy Lil Kim, mini-Chia Pet) had best know this fact clearly.

All BS, this just means if they fire it at Japan. We should be destroying all NK missile launches.

Will our fearless leader back Japan or will he bow down to the communists like he did to the middle-eastern-death-cult leaders?
To: AmericanInTokyo
I just hope it doesn’t compromise their readiness to combat monsters.
Remember, Japan is still the only nation to have thousands of citizens squashed.

I can't help but think Kid Korea is going to try to send a nuke to the U.S. I believe he thinks he has the greatest military in the world and can take on anything.
I don't believe the nuke will make it, but I can see it landing in the pacific ocean. If it does, there's going to be tsunamis everywhere.
I think the kid was raised in a delusional world, and I think he thinks he's indestructible - because people told him he was all his life.

1) NoKo cancels test because they know, unlike US leaders, Japan’s leaders aren’t bluffing.
2) Pravda USA gives all the credit to obama backing down to Krazy Kim and defusing the situation.

What are the odds that the missile will perform as it’s supposed to?

Look like the Minister of Defense in Japan is taking the following more seriously than others, who have fabricated some odd stories about it instead.
North Korea urges embassy evacuations, diplomats say By Will Englund, Published: April 5
The Washington Post
Excerpt:
"
The British Foreign Office said its embassy 'received a communication from the North Korean government this morning saying that the North Korean government would be unable to guarantee the safety of embassies and international organizations in the country in the event of conflict from April 10.'"

North Korea is out of the missile business.
Practice shots unless directed north over China will be shot down.

IIRC, Japan’s last two tests of SM-3 anti-missile defense systems were successful.

If they do launch an attack on Japan, I can’t picture China taking up arms together with North Korea, pact or no pact. They value stability. A pact with an unstable moron, who wants to start WW III just because he feels like it, will not be honored by the Middle Kingdom. Kim is so ronery.

I won't be surprised if at some point the media pits Kim”s Aunt as the Power in charge....up against S.Korea's new President.
It was said when her brother, (Kim II) was swinging his rhetoric around that her husband sternly opposed it and was quickly slammed down by her. So she does at least have clout...likely with Kim- Un, more than her husband, in the decisions being made.

Good God...two of the most important economies in the world (Japan and South Korea) are being terrorized by a psychopathic little punk whose only goal is to blackmail more $$$ from the West. Why can’t someone get a few snipers in there and “neutralize” that little punk and every general and admiral they have?

mclame said something on one of the talk shows (Defecate on the Nation?) this A.M. that caught me off-guard. mclame said the U.S. would lose a war with NK before he corrected himself and said the U.S. would win a war with NK. chuck e. shumer was sitting there with mclame and chuck e. shumer may have punched mclame in the side to not say that. Looked like someone was giving out a secret. Who knows? Something out of mclames mouth saying U.S. loses, then correction, gave me pause that more is going on than the citizens in the U.S. are being told on this matter. Then according to some articles there are four NK satellites up there with who knows what on board.

I had not even really thought about Japan. Japan is as likely as any target.

If we shoot down the North Korean’s missiles, won't that hurt their self esteem?
