The biggest political problem faced by so-called liberals and so-called progressives in President Obamas second term is how to prevent voters from holding them politically responsible as the public comes to realize how badly they were lied to during the first Obama term to win passage of Obamacare.
Most supporters of Obamacare embraced it because of a principled belief that everyone should have access to essential healthcare. But even the establishment, still Democrat dominated, CBO admits that after 10 years of implementation, Obamacare will still leave 30 million uninsured.
We will see below why that is a woeful underestimate.

Just wait until the broad realization dawns that the harsh reality of Obamacare is that tens of millions will lose their employer provided insurance because of the perverse incentives under the program. Even the establishment CBO admits that at least 7 million, and as many as 20 million, will lose their employer coverage.

So much for President Obamas oft repeated first term promise that If you like your health insurance, you can keep it. No one is going to take that away from you.
Obama campaigned in 2008 on a promise that Obamacare would reduce the cost of health insurance by $2,500 for average families. But since Obamacare passed, the cost of an average family policy has already increased by $3,000.

While that may be, Obama care is lasting the war will be over.
“...10 years of implementation, Obamacare will still leave 30 million uninsured.”
Not to worry, by that time zero will be happily tucked away in his 40 million dollar Hawaiian estate.
Our health care premium went up 20% January 1 due to ObamaCare’s covering of all applicants.
I mentioned this to our 26 year old twice Obama voting daughter. She said it was BS and probably insurance companies trying to make excessive money.
So when HER premium at work went up about the same time her payroll taxes went up, she is now singing a different tune.
Hit them hard Barry. Hite them hard!
Premiums will be higher, not lower.
Better than half of the States will NOT cooperate with a “State Exchange” and Sebelius has pushed back the Federal Exchanges as well as the requirement for businesses to purchase through the “exchanges” by another year.
The “High Risk Pool” under Obamacare was and is a flop.
Democrats are even upset at the tax on medical devices.
Many States have refused to expand Medicaid under Obamacare.
10th Amendment Court cases still have a high chance of restricting Obamacare.
1st Amendment challenges will most likely result in Conservative victories.
And, of course, I said POLITICALLY speaking -— in other words, Obamacare will still NOT be a vote getter or a positive campaign issue, for Democrats.
Prayers for your wife...
SoetoroCare is a tax bill. Constitutional pedophile Juan Roburtos wrote it.
If we would just start referring to it as “Democrat-care” then the Republicans would dominate the the next off-year elections. (They may anyhow)
And that ignorance is what the leftists always count on. The fact that most people, especially your daughter’s age, will be clueless to the after-effects and end results of the leftists’ policies. And throughout history it has been waaay too late by the time most ‘woke up’ to the reality of what they had enabled.

I humbly agree to disagree. They had four years of Obama and they reelected him. They are blinded by their stupidity. ; )
The thing about Medicare is that they don't even care about reality. All they care about is if the right diagnostic code, usually a four or five digit number, is used.

Coding error may be true.
I just finished a coding class and one digit, even after the decimal point could make all the difference.
Well don’t be surprised when these people, like your ex-boss, lay the blame at the feet of others in power. They really are clueless and I do not see them getting a clue either.
Absolutely correct. You have laid out the scenario perfectly. But we already know this was never about healthcare. It was about securing votes from those easily swayed by emotional arguments while ignoring realities.
