God bless him. I hope he goes through the proper channels and becomes an American citizen the right and legal way.
I wish there were some way to give this guy his citizenship and send a random member of Congress to Mexico in exchange.
He's clearly not been paying attention. With liberal democRATs and like-minded Republicans advocating for it, amnesty is a given; it's only a matter of time.
And he should talk to Carlos Slim Helu. Helu seems to have no problem making money, and could probably use smart guys.
A couple thoughts:
-Yes he is doing the right thing by going back.
-But yes, he is a chump by going back. Many times my wife, who is not an American, and I joke grimly about how easier it would have been for us had she snuck in through Mexico, not marry, and we live on welfare and just breed.
-Elite prep schools and acceptance to respectable universities is hardly “living in the shadows”.
“God bless him. I hope he goes through the proper channels and becomes an American citizen the right and legal way.”
Absolutely!
Sounds like this young man will make a very fine American. :)
Nice try. Now, if these “reporters” will tell us about the 10,000+ folks who didn’t do any of these great things, but have lived here without insurance, but can vote, and still expect our money for food, welfare, and health care, we can start a discussion.
Debating with pathological liars is pointless. Add to that pathologically lying debate moderators, and you have the last 20 rears of politics in America.
My GF is a Canadian green-card holder and it took her 6 years from start to finish to process and these mexiclowns want it in less than a year.
We punish the worthy and law-abiding and reward the worthless law-breakers

Little hazy on the ‘facts’ but seem to remember a few years ago an ‘illegal mother’ was deported after being discovered she was illegal, while ‘searching for her benefits’ due to the death of her son who was KIA while a member of the US Army while in Afghanistan or Iraq.
Think a couple of Pols tried to intervene but don’t remember what the outcome was.
I realize she was illegal but considering the circumstances, she had paid her dues.
Exactly. I married a foreigner and it took several years, a bunch of money, and a whole lot of paperwork and outright degradation - the INS treats native born Americans like crap - to adjust his status.
Keep him and deport 50 illegal alien gangbangers, thugs, drug dealers and child molestors
Here’s what my Gf went through:
1) Paid, waited for the Royal Mounted Police to create a criminal background check which took 6 months to process
2) Paid/waited for a blood test, urine test/medical test (Yup, i said WTF!?)—and she’s a licensed physician
3) HAD to go back to Ireland to get ANOTHER background check as she was born near Dublin
4) Exit interview: here’s the lunacy—there are 6 consulates in Canada, and EVERYONE has to go to Montreal just to receive their green cards—even though we both resided in vancouver BC.
and these effing mexitards want it all in 1 year..F em all
No matter how you interpret this story it is still an example of liberal geoproximity bigotry that dogmatically asserts that a border country to the USA has greater immigration rights than someone in the Ukraine or Japan or South Africa to name but a scant few.
Any honest discussion of the Unregistered Democrat problem does not start with border security but rather with Mexican reparations to the citizens of the United States for their billion dollar multigenerational bailout of one of the richest countries in the world.
Hogwash! So, this reporter just happened to be in Tiajuana and this story fell into his lap? I don’t think so. This kid applied for college and got accepted along with with nice scholarships makes this story sound all the more mushy. Not. What about the student/s who weren’t able to go to college because he had that scholarship monies tied up? What about the student/s who weren’t accepted because he took their place. No, not a nice feel good story whatsoever. Frankly, I’m chalking this trip back to Mexico is just another teenage stunt of acting out.
amen. i wish all the rest of them would self deport and respect our laws.
i also wish we had our version of mexico’s illegal immigrant laws too.
