RIP, Maggie!
Ronald Reagan greeted her in Heaven with a bottle of good champagne.

RIP Iron Lady. I hope our @$$ in chief does not show up at your funeral. He isn’t worthy to be toe jam in a soldier’s foot.

I should have said The Downfall of the USSR. I was trying to say something nice about Mrs. Thatcher, and it came out wrong. That's OK...but the downfall of the USSR to become Russia once again, hasn't changed anything, except, perhaps, a more Capitalistic Communism, sort of what we have here now.

On Drudge there are lots of tributes from world leaders. Not a peep from Mr. Asshole Idiot as far as I can tell. You can wager lots of money on that. Why? In America, class is inherited, not dumped in Kenya or Indonesia.

I hadn’t realized his funeral was her final trip here, but it was.
God bless and hold her dear.
They’re together now, along with Pope John Paul II.

I hadnt realized his funeral was her final trip here, but it was.Her doctors told her she wasn't healthy enough to make the trip, but she wouldn't hear of it. It was something she had to do.
God bless her, and may she rest in peace.

“What do you want to bet that Obama will show his contempt and disrespect by not attending her funeral?”
I fear you are correct.
“Instead, he will send some lower-level functionary, like Biden.”
Which would be a bigger slap in the face than a DVD set that doesn’t work in their systems.

I wonder if there’s a golf course anywhere near where her funeral will be?
That might be the deciding factor in King Barry’s attendance.

"Margaret Thatcher's last overseas engagement: "I have to say goodbye to Ronnie"" Oh, my Lord, that makes me cry. She really was in no shape to make the trip, but she came, regardless.
Beautiful pics, Onyx...thank you,

She loved “Ronnie,” and I’m sure he loved her back. They were the closest of friends and allies.
We have to believe they’re together again now, and I do.
Pining for the days when patriotic adults were in charge.

"I remember most Thatcher in the church..."
My favorite moment was at the graveside service, when, as the sun was setting so beautifully over his favorite place, his favorite politician lingered at his tomb, curtsied, and strode away.
To: Fresh Wind
Right. She made the trip regardless.
She had to say good by to “Ronnie.”
