Friday afternoon Kansas Governor Sam Brownback signed 11 bills into law, including SB 21 which amends several firearms-related statutes including authorizing official recognition of any valid concealed carry permit from another state for individuals traveling through or visiting Kansas.
Thanks to Gov Brownback, Kansas now has the best Concealed Carry reciprocity in the nation!

This is great! I went to MO and KS for a decade in fear of CCW laws before they enacted them. As usual, there was no "blood in the streets" as predicted by liberals in Lawrence, KS and Columbia, MO.
Brownback also struck down the KS machinegun law and now we can carry our NFA items into KS with the proper ATF From 5320 (interstate temporary travel). (which is federally unconstitutional IMHO).

You do still have to know the law in Kansas, though. Not all concealed carry permits necessarily allow the same thing in Kansas that are allowed in your home state.

Now, pass open carry protection,
and then “permitless” concealed carry.

Excellent...Every arm should be reciprocal between ALL states.
Hell...My bud hunts all over the country. He needs a permit to hunt....not for his guns.

I take back the mean things I said about KS while I was stationed at Ft. Riley. Good for the Gov!

Kansas also a place to do legal, private property gun selling without Colorado laws interfering if so desired by Coloradoans.

Special thanks is due for Patricia Stoneking of the Kansas State Rifle Association. She is responsible for shepherding this law through the legislature. She spent weeks in Topeka lobbying and informing and rallying the troops for this legislation.
