Exclusive: Joseph Farah pits president's actions against words of our founders
Barack Obama recently made some extraordinary statements about gun ownership that need a thorough refutation.

Heres what he said in Colorado last week: The opponents of some of these common-sense laws have ginned up fears among responsible gun owners that have nothing to do with whats being proposed, nothing to do with the facts, but feeds into this suspicion about government. The governments us, Obama continued. These officials are elected by you. They are elected by you, I am elected by you. I am constrained as they are constrained by a system that our founders put in place. This is a government of and by and for the people. So surely we can have a debate thats not based on the notion somehow that your elected representatives are trying to do something to you other than potentially prevent another group of families from grieving the way the families of Aurora or Newtown or Columbine have grieved. Weve got to get past some of the rhetoric that gets perpetuated that breaks down trust and is so over the top that it just shuts down all discussion. And its important for all of us when we hear that talk to say hold on a second. If there are any folks out there right now who

Same reason the 1939 Brownshirts did.
It's a lot harder and more risky to round up and execute the 25 million people who will need to be eliminated to pave the way for their new government
Yep, many will resist and die if need be in a pile of brass.

“Not only did Obama misrepresent the very reason the Bill of Rights includes a specific protection of the unalienable right to bear arms...”
I think we can take it as a given at this point that president hussein misrepresents pretty much everything.
And, by the way, it’s call being a stone liar.

April 2008 “ ...they cling to their guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them.” B. Obama
That pretty much says it all. No, we aren’t like you. We don’t like you.
We’re just hoping to make it to 2016, we’re just waiting you out. Resign.
Do something good for the country, for a change.
Me too.
These would-be tyrants had best think twice before they make felons of a few million of us old gun nuts.

A system of licensing and registration is the perfect device to deny gun ownership to the bourgeoisie.

Must be planning something that he thinks will make bitter clingers mad enough to shoot back. OTOH, collectivist tyrants never saw a freedom they didn't hate, so maybe it's just general principles.
There is no way to answer the question posed by this article without resorting to a long string of profanities, so I’ll let it go.
Because he should.
A virtuous government need not fear its citizens. A government that would disarm the populace has bad intentions and fears for its own safety, not ours.
“Shall not be infringed” is the Supreme Law of the Land. What is there to debate about that phrase?
