If you’re commenting on April snow in the Rockies, you’re giving yourself away as a noob immigrant.

The current snow storm is predicted to deposit up to 24 inches in South Dakota, and 12-18" in sections of Kansas -- nowhere near the Rockies.

Correction - Nebraska, not Kansas.

I’ve got three to five foot drifts all around my home here in the Black Hills. Mr. RR is plowing, or trying to plow the road to our house. In inches, I don’t know how many we got. Some places are bare and in others, the snow would reach my chin. Not supposed to let up until tomorrow midday.

Not complaining. We desperately need the moisture. We get most of our big snows in March and April. What is unusual is the temperature for this time of year. Only 9 degrees here.
