Lady Thatcher, what a fine and gracious Lady.
Our countries were most fortunate to have her and Ronald Reagan.

In 2004 when Reagan died, the subdivision where we lived adjoined the Reagan Library property. Although area roads were closed for miles and everything was eerily quiet, Security let us stand at the intersection of Presidential and Roosevelt as the funeral procession went by. The highlight for us was seeing Margaret Thatcher in one of the cars just a few yards away.
There were about 50 of us, hands over our hearts, hats off, and you could have heard a pin drop. It was a miracle for Thatcher and Reagan to be in power together. Too bad the good they did has been negated in such a relatively short time.

Well said and thanks for relating that, sadly you’re correct about the good they did being negated.
