If I was rich I’d love to buy up huge tracts of land there...rebuild nice planned communities...sadly it wouldn’t work because I’d have to put up huge fences to keep the ferals out and that would be racist of me...
they brought their work ethic and their churches, their foods, their music....
America became too successful, for all those immigrants that built the great cities have moved to the suburbs, and the subsequent generations have diluted their religion, their food, their music...iows....lost their culture...
the big cities are suffering because there is very little good culture, despite what Farakan or Jesse says....what they call "culture" is just another excuse for not working, not educating, not obeying the law, not marrying...
I don’t love cities but I think America’s future depends on their survival. There is good moral news coming out of Detroit as well.

I think I was there. Drove through Wayne State, then NE of downtown, and made a big loop through Hamtramck, and then west to Highland Park, Livernois, and further west. It was only one visit, so wasn’t sure if I “missed” anything
The only difference vs. other NE cities i know of, is the scale of the blight - Detroit’s blight covers an absolutely huge area.
It’s not a typical tourist destination, but I am glad I saw it.
It is there for the taking. There is such a salvage company doing just that in Buffalo. There is some beautiful old wood-working, lead-glass, and light fixtures available
About 40 years ago I was a child there. This is so sad.
What we are dealing with is really 60 years of Democrat leadership and union corruption.
The truth of Detroit is largely ignored by the media.
That’s great!!! I look at those salvage operations as keepers of history and American craftsmanship.
The MSM is guilty of TREASON and I stand on those charges until they come to kill ME!!!
