Just like in the Soviet Union. Of course, New York is already a socialist republic. I cannot image why anyone lives there now.

I moved out of there last year, I couldn’t take it anymore. It’s like North Korea there now, but with food. I wouldn’t even say it’s a socialist republic, it’s more of a despotic state at least in New York city under despot Mike Bloomberg. The city controls every aspect of the individuals life and the constitution is completely non-existent. People make fun of the soda, smoking, eating ban, I tell them that is the LEAST of what goes on in that city.
