I’m totally devastated by this. I worked on his first congressional campaign. He was 110% conservative. WTF happens when they become senators?

WTF happens when they become senators? They start to feel left out of the action when no one extends an invite to the Beltway cocktail parties. From that point, their issue stances begin the "evolving" process.
