>>>This is where we as conservatives need to adopt Alinsky tactics and get in their face. <<<
Indeed. The tips in “Rules for Radicals” are just tactics, nothing else. The left has used these tools to bash us over the head for decades; turnabout is fair play. I’d thrown in Gramscii’s admonishment to march through their institutions, too. Conservatives need to infiltrate the media, the schools, the entertainment industry, and slowly undermine the leftist paradigm. I’m doing it right now in my English high school class, teaching Solzhenitsyn to students; my colleague has them read “Animal Farm.” I gladly remind any leftists that I run into that the seeds of their destruction are contained in the creation of their institutions.
And always, always, always mock the left. It can’t be defended against. We must have watched the Obamaphone video dozens of times in the last campaign (before classes, of course). Whenever I run into a lazy teenager - and it’s not uncommon for a teenager to be lazy - the shorthand around here is, “Getting ready for your Obamaphone?” Yeah, it would probably get me fired in New York, but I’m not in New York. And I have tenure.
not an original thought from this professor....
...not only that...if you watch the video of this guy he actually said “George Romney wants to run the country’...
for that alone he should be subject to ridicule and academic review, really, suggesting that someone who’s been dead since 1995 still wants the reins of power...
...for someone as cocksure as this individual seems to be, he sure does make it easy to mock him...
Rush was making exactly that point about the Ashley Judd / Mitch McConnell tape flap yesterday, when a caller made the inevitable connection to the Watergate narrative, when secret bugging and taping became "high crimes and misdemeanors" sufficient to support an impeachment bill.
(NOT, of course, when Kennedy and Johnson were President, however ..... or when J. Edgar Hoover was using wiretaps and bugs to hound ex-FBI star agent Melvin Purvis to suicide, for having succeeded too much instead of being a "team player" [meaning, give the boss all the credit].)
Don't think either one of them is black, although the article doesn't say. Neither name sounds African or African-American. Both sound Central European.
Translation: He got me. So let me take some credit if I can for being "candid" (biased) and "direct" (profane).
If he thought he was playing a dirty trick by taping me, it lacks creativity and the effort deserves maybe a C-plus.
Oh, yeah, that's right -- threaten his grade, and the grade of any other student who might stand up to you.
The Left is nothing but class. And candor, and courage, and openness ... and .... and ... feh.
Riiiight ... the GOP needs to vomit out its core principles and commit seppuku so it can be ..... strong.
Riiiiight. I get it, Einstein.
Since when is it a professors job to present HIS viewpoint? This jackas*’s job is to present ALL views.
Very well said and if he can’t do that then he needs to shut his trap
Good for you!
“Professor Calls Republicans Stupid and Racist”
And, Progressives are nothing but ignorant, visceral,
psychotic defenders of a murdering philosophy that brings death, misery and poverty every time it’s put into practice.
IMHO
They are the absolute scum of the earth.
