Maybach driver shot, killed during rush hour on I-20

The man shot while driving on Interstate 20 in DeKalb county during rush hour has died.

He was driving a Maybach -- a rare luxury car that sells for upward of $400,000. Now, police are working to figure out who he was and find the person witnesses saw fire at him from a white SUV.

"It sounded like a bazooka,” an unidentified witness said about the shooting.

An off-duty Atlanta firefighter pulled over at the sight of the stopped sedan and found a man inside shot multiple times.

He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition, but later died.

“At this point, we are still looking into the background of this victim and trying to positively identify the victim,” Parish said.

I have to admit that I’m not all that familiar with Maybach details ...

I knew nothing about them until we towed one out of our parking deck. Then I learned all about them from the owner.

Since the decedent’s race wasn’t mentioned, I’m assuming he was Amish. It’s also a bit surprising that he wasn’t carrying a driver’s license and that the vehicle’s registration couldn’t be traced to get an idea of his identity. Of course, being the racist I am, I always carry my driver’s license and vehicle registration with me. Naturally, such discriminatory rules only apply to white people.

Since you brought that up ... can see some more information in the vid. Some fired projectiles look to have not penetrated the front windows on both sides of vehicle. May be wet on that observation .. so please take with a grain or pound of salt.

Don't know what 14mm Llumar is but do wonder if it has anything to do with the always black with dark black windows I see questionable characters driving around here. The pants on the ground types, stupid scary looking.
