Some locales have 'unlawful assembly' statutes on the books, and would happily use them to deploy the water cannon or worse.

Let 'em. It's time we stepped up our opposition to the tyranny now raining down on us. The enemy is literally shredding the Constitution before our eyes, and you're worried about violating some 'unlawful' assembly ordinance? Phooey!

We'd better wake up and realize that simply rallying together isn't nearly enough to get the attention of the traitors. We're going to have to be big, loud, ever-present - and we're going to have to engage in lots of overt civil disobedience to get the damn Commies to back off.

Chill FRiend, I'm not 'worried about it', merely raising a planning point.
And I both understand and agree with your zeal, but the reality is that if we want 'big numbers' the word will have to spread beforehand that it's intended to be a peaceful thing on our part.

(tho having said that, I'd urge anyone attending to have 'some' means of self-defense to hand, tho that's just mho)

At this point in our nation's history, I'd give anything to be 20yrs younger.
There'd be worse things than mountin' up and lightin' the fuse on this national CF, but better to gather the strength of an army now than make a futile gesture with the lives/liberty of patriots who'll be needed later.

Hope that made a bit of sense, as I'm about to fall asleep in this chair.
