I know that among other things it's used in fertilizer and cattle feed as well as in water softeners. It's also used as a salt substitute and in capital punishment. I also know that in order for it to be lethal in doses small enough to fit into this dart then it has to be injected intravenously. Now I can google it and get the chemical properties if you like but what is it you're trying to find out?
I know what calcium chloride is, its used to accelerate the hydration of concrete in cold weather, its basically a salt, reacts with heat when combined with water.
