I've been under the weather the last couple of days - some bug going around. Mrs. MacNessa had it last week and I have it now.

Our temps are back down into the 50's, but the heat wave we had mid-week wreaked havoc on my daffodils.

I'm doing my income taxes - absolutely hideous! The expiration of the Bush tax-cuts has really hurt us.

We're doing the steaks tomorrow evening - making a run to Sam's Club after Mass to buy some thick-cut New York Strips.

The high schools here in Anchorage have the norovirus....lots of sick kids.

A friend here in town is sick, and my sister in California is sick.

Nothing at my house yet...we don’t need any sickness.

Income taxes this year were not good. I picked mine up this afternoon, but I can see a missing line. I’ll check with them tomorrow. Nothing like waiting til the last minute. *sigh*
