The authorities also found a device at St. James and Trinity Streets that did not explode, the person said, and two other devices were found, including one in Newton, outside of Boston.

Grateful people can do this, but hard to imagine the environment they have to work in.
Of course our soldiers experience this while people are shooting at them... daily....but they know they are in a war zone. These people had no clue this was coming.

Too much security and on-site scrutiny at an event like that. It’s impossible to maintain that level of protection for an event that covers 26+ miles, though.
Makes you wonder if the ones found were intended for this...or “found” at random from someone else doing the deed. We live in evil times in our country.

CBS News senior correspondent John Miller said there is “an individual in custody,” a Saudi national who was near the scene of the blast.
Miller said a civilian claims the person was acting suspiciously and chased him down and tackled him after the explosions.
The man is said to be cooperating with investigators and denies any involvement.
Looks like they’ve removed it...
It sounds as though they think it was part of today’s attack.
Helicopters circling downtown Chicago all afternoon as well. The whole country is on edge...
