Revere is less Italian than it used to be, but still pretty seedy in some areas. I do go there to buy my Italian sausage from Bianco & Sons.

These guys supply many of the vendors at sporting events, and I have found it is the only way to get that same flavor, which I love.

But Revere is definitely a place where a lot of illegal activity goes on.

Like I said, I haven’t been to that area in 40+ years, but I’ll never forget it! I was a very young twenty and an older lady of forty took me “wholesale” shopping to Revere Beach one night where she bought a mink coat for the oncoming winter. I’d never seen or heard of shopping from the backs of freight trucks. :)
