Check out how the attack happened..who usually are the ones who win the Marathon..they come from Africa, Uganda, Congo, South Africa and other countries, they are usually the ones that win..the rest are just average folk running for the heck of it or for some charity they are raising money for..the attack did not occur til AFTER the winners had already made it through..whoever did this wanted to make sure that Americans were the ones injured or killed

Isn't that a contradiction in terms? Those on the right side of the political spectrum are pro-God and pro-life. Terrorism is the domain of the left.

I hope and don't suspect it is the case here, but right-wing nuttiness targeting the innocent sometimes - if rarely - happens.

Example: Eric Rudolf, Olympic Park bombing.

How about the country that just declared war on us?
and tossed English ambasadors out on the 10th?
And that gad a Marthon of their own on the same day...

Domestic Terrorists...Retaliation.....

How about the bad guys, knowing and seeing that we are led by an idiot. Who has shown time and time again, that he has no idea how to be a leader and because of that, they can get away with what they want. There’s really no way to prevent what happened today.

Thankfully(hopefully) there are some rockstars in the FBI and whoever else is investigating this, find out who is responsible and they are dealt with accordingly.

Lets see:

Carter: Iranians took hostages - he did nothing
Reagan: got the hostages....went after Ghadafi, even the French, without all that much evidence
Clinton: 4 terrorist attacks...World Trade Center, Khobar Towers, Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, USS Cole...did nothing
Bush: WTC and Pentagon....kicked the sh*t out of a whole bunch of folks
Obama: Benghazi(for now)...done nothing

Now, I know some will argue the fine points or just tell me I’m full of crap. But, there’s a pattern. They know Obama isn’t worth a hill of beans.

Drone strikes. Thousands of miles away and very antiseptic.
Authorizes ST6 to go after Bin Laden. Thousands of miles away and very antiseptic.

This unfortunate incident just landed on his doorstep. Just read an article on how his first 90 days have been an utter and total disaster. If this turns out to be the work of muslim’s, It’ll mean his endless campaign is over and it’ll be time for him to pretend to lead.

I’d just love to be in a room with him and his academics and muslim sympathizer friends, to listen to their ideas on how to spin the whole thing.

That about sums it up. They are amongst us. Heard tonight on hannity during an interview with Tom Ridge. We have watches, they have time.

They are a patient bunch that only respects one thing and one thing only, violence. If we bring it to their doorstep, we can do the fighting there, not on Main St.

And jump up every time they pause and yell "BOOM".

April 15 is also the deadline for filing federal taxes, which suggests the possibility of homegrown, anti-tax extremists.

Oh how balanced, not. "Anti-tax extremists" would take out their vengeance on the government, not the public.

No sale.

There isn’t enough info yet. I doubt it was a right winger though. Right wingers wouldn’t attack a marathon. A Jared Loughner or Adam Lanza type certainly would; however, this attack still seems like a bit much for one lone crazy SOB to pull off like this. I will be curious to know exactly what the explosive was. that will be very useful information.

I agree with the “right wingers hit” government buildings. Muslims want to do one thing. They want to terrorize the citizens. Little bombs like this do the trick. Now every person at every sporting event will be a little jumpy. Next they may hit another large city at a baseball game. Or they may wait a few months or longer then hit a high school event. Things that drive us crazy with fear. That’s their soul purpose.

Read THE BATTLE OF ALGIERS for how the French beat them.

The one important date that the author fails to mention is that it was the day of the Boston Marathon!

Maybe the terrorist was just looking for a high profile event that had low security and lots of unprotected people. What better place to find people who are unprotected but in Massachusetts.

Could I suggest that folks use a phrase more suitable to context, such as “so-called right wing extremists” because if we’re talking about people like the Oklahoma City bombers, there was nothing really “right wing” about those guys, more like paranoid anarchists. They sometimes attach themselves to the fringes of conservative groups but this is mostly because they heard at some point in their mis-education that anything anti-communist is “right wing” and they feel anti-communist so they look for conservative groups to join. By definition, conservatives (which is what people like Wolf Blitzer mean when they say right-wing) are not terrorists. We conserve, not destroy. You can be as far right as anybody out there but if you have an agenda to blow things up out of anger and hatred, then that’s some other ideology than conservatism. My guess is that in this case, it’s an Al Qaeda offshoot, or a wannabe group in that sort of mode. If it turned out to be “home-grown so-called right wing extremists” then we need to make it quite clear that there is no place for such people in conservatism and they can say what they want but we didn’t invite them in.

Terrorists often plan their strikes on anniversaries and commemorative dates

There is little evidence of this in Islamic terrorism.

We have to stop letting the left frame the debate (right wing terrorists), which causes us to defend why it wouldn’t be right wing terrorism. Instead, we need to be pushing their buttons. Why not OWS? Why not the radical leftists who riot and protest the world trade org, world bank? They destroyed Seattle a few years ago. Why not an organization like weather underground?

Al Queda did a number of dry runs prior to 9/11. The scale of today’s attack was quite small, but its repercussions large. I suspect that Al Queda/Muslim Brotherhood operatives in the U.S. homeland were ordered to monitor security reactions throughout the US (NY/DC subways and airports, for instance), probing for weaknesses for a future *larger* scale attack.

If I had any money left after five years of Obama, I’d bet that Al Queda/Muslim Brotherhood is currently planning a large-scale attack on the homeland in the near future. Boston Marathon might be a good dry-run op for July 4 on the National Mall, for example.

If this really was the work of AQ/MB, and not some isolated wing-nut, then expect a much larger, coordinated, multi-city attack on the homeland in the near future.
