The working theories for who did this (Boston Globe admits it might be a Muslim)
The Boston Globe ^ | April 16, 2013 | Lawrence Harmon

Posted on 04/15/2013 10:12:37 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

ThE PERPETRATOR or perpetrators behind the two bombs that exploded within a few seconds of each other near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon are still unknown. But there are working theories. Terrorists often plan their strikes on anniversaries and commemorative dates. Yesterday marked both a patriotic holiday in Massachusetts and Israel Independence Day, which raises the possibility of Islamic terrorism. April 15 is also the deadline for filing federal taxes, which suggests the possibility of homegrown, anti-tax extremists. The pathological possibilities abound at this point.

The Marathon is an uplifting event. It is also a made-for-terrorism event. The presence of live television crews ensures that the evil deed will be broadcast almost immediately throughout the world. Reports indicate that at least three people died as a result of the explosions and at least 140 were injured, some horribly.

The image of the dead and wounded will be burned into the memory of Americans for decades to come.....

...this has religion of peace written all over it.

You're right and as further evidence , I just checked the CAIR website where there's not a single mention of the atrocity in Boston today. In my view, their silence on the matter is a tacit admission of guilt for this Satanic cult's involvement in this murderous act.

If we refuse to fight Muslim terrorists in their streets and backyards with the best armed and trained military in the world, than we will fight them in our streets and backyards with unarmed, untrained citizens. There is no escape from this truth.

Well, duuuuuuuh. Hard to think otherwise.

If the Glob prints a story about Kermit Gosnell, I might start to pay attention.

According to Wolf Blitzer, it's Apr 15 so it could be a Tea Partier, tax protesters, or one of those Aryan Nation guys. He talked for 20 minutes and never pondered the possibility of a Muslim.

A couple of days ago Cris Mathews had the Southern Poverty Law Center on to accuse the Aryan Nation of the Texas shootings. Yesterday, they arrest a defrocked Texas Law employee.

Common sense and reason have NO PLACE on cable TV.

Unarmed? We are the best armed citizenry in the history of Planet Earth. There have been enough firearms and ammunition sold just since Mr. Obama gained the Democratic Party nomination to arm everyone who fought in World Wars I and II. Untrained? Between the hunters, outdoorsman, veterans, active military, reservists, paintballers and shooting sports people, we have enough trained NCOs and officers for 10 armies.

Usually right wing people attack Federal targets. True there are innocents that get hurt but they are not the targets.

Federal targets are innocent targets too. Federal workers may be worthy of a pink slip, but are innocent of anything deserving injury or death.

Anybody have a record of any “home grown anti-tax extremists” who have a history of blowing up a random assembly of individuals at a public gathering? Perhaps I’ve forgotten...

You make good point, 2DV. Now, try gettin’ that glop together, against an unheeled Gov’t force. Just thinkin’, along your lines of proposal.

My 800 mhz cell phone works quite satisfactorily inside the large steel box called an elevator. My 2 meter rig, on the other hand, won't hit the repeater from the lower floors.

I hate it how the media describes anyone who hates paying taxes as being on the right..does everyone on the left love paying taxes..NO ONE does..but of course if your anti tax your automatically labeled a “Right winger”

The intended killing of many Americans strongly suggests the attack was Islamist in intent. Acts of terror otherwise, foreign or domestic, are not typically designed to maximize casualties.

However, it could have been carried out by a local group not really connected with any true terrorist network. We've seen that "copycat" scenario play out many times.

Aryan Brotherhood is a very serious prison gang with little dogmatic ideology beyond power

Aryan Nations is a Neo Nazi church with serious Christian Identity.....modern Israelism ...at its core

Two different things

My working theory is that the terrorist just doesn’t like Mondays or marathons.
