More than three months after buying Al Gore’s Current TV with a grand vision of launching a US-focused network, Al Jazeera’s plans are still not ready for prime time.

The new network, to be called Al Jazeera America, has still not hired a news chief, finished its studio or settled on office space, The Post has learned.

This was about a payoff to Algore, just wait a while they will flounder and sell it back at half the price.

I wonder how long it is going to take for the penny to drop, that Alphonse just screwed them silly in this deal?

Well, he is just following the old American tradition of utterly fleecing foreign investors who think America is full of get rich quick schemes.

One great historical example was how investors in Scotland would send a bookkeeper to buy a herd of cattle in Texas, that would be driven to Kansas City, making a small fortune in the process.

They would indeed start with a full herd of cattle, but the closer they got to KC, the smaller the herd would become. On arrival, “nary a cow could be found”, with all the cowboys lining up to be paid their wages, or else.
