The FBI and state and local police are intensifying their probe into Monday's bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, vowing a "worldwide investigation" and appealing to the public for tips and cell phone pictures that might yield clues about who was behind the horrific attack.

"At this time there are no claims of responsibility," FBI officials said in a press conference Tuesday. "The range of suspects and motives remains wide open."

Three died and at least 176 were injured when two bombs went off just before 3 p.m., shattering a festive atmosphere several hours after the legendary race began on the city's 238th annual Patriots' Day.

At the least; likely there is more than that -- like w/ Fast & Furious was wrong/invalid multiple ways, this too is likely to be used multiple ways.

I’m having great difficulty overcoming my lackluster sympathy for the people of Boston, Massachusetts.

I just can’t seem to make myself care about a population of dimwits that voted overwhelmingly to strip me and my countrymen of their rights. I mean they even voted for this idiot who took his eye completely off the ball so much that this is the 3rd documented attempt at a terrorist attack and the first one to be successful only because the last two were fumbled by the terrorist themselves.

The people of Boston Massachusetts knew what they were doing and if they didn’t that is their own fought for casting blind votes. They felt that assaulting our rights was more important than attacking terrorist.

So how am I suppose to feel outrage, shock, or sympathy when the inevitable happens to them of all people? I find I can only feel sorry for the innocent children who were injured and killed by their irresponsible disregard, and of course for the political minority that would have done otherwise.

Forget it. The ominous significance of this pathetic display of incompetence is simply this: Our intel assets have lost contact with the enemy. He is running free and loose within our borders, and the people we have trusted to keep us safe have not the slightest clue as to where he is.
