The letter sending guy is probably homegrown, the Obama Administration want to demogog that! An FBI new conference in Boston would undermine that effort. Hence it’s postponed.

You're the whole ricin thing is absurdly overblown -- the guy who did it will turn out to be such an oaf, he likely did not pose any serious danger.
First of all, merely touching ricin is not fatal -- it must be ingested, inhaled or injected to cause death. And the guy probably wasn't capable of producing a very potent grade.
So anyway, yeah, the White House is playing up the "omg, Obama got a ricin letter" to try to distract from the Marathon bombing ... and we all have a pretty good idea why.
