During a House hearing this morning, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano criticized the Drudge Report for highlighting stories about the department’s purchases of ammunition and MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles.

How many bullets and WHY hollow point? Hollow points cost more - much more - the ONLY difference is hollow point can pass through KEVLAR. Who owns Kevlar? Not ordinary citizens - member of our police departments and military forces.
Why would Homeland Insecurity be going after police, members of the FBI and Marines? Big Sis needs to talk. Real newspapers need to ask questions.

Hollow points pass through Kevlar? While I could easily be mistaken, that doesn’t sound right to me. I would have thought that it would expand against the Kevlar and that would keep it from penetrating.

Only this group of statists think it is their position to announce who is credible and who isn’t. This has never been done before. The closest thing I can recall is Clinton’s attack on talk radio and Rush. Similar, but different. This group has determined that they are the arbiter of ‘real’ news vs fake news. Some like Hillary deem Al Jezeera as credible, where any US outlet that disagrees illegitimate.
Glad to know they solved the Boston case already so that she has time to be a political hack in front of Congress.

um... why do you need to use expensive hollow point bullets to shoot paper targets?
Lets just assume this is all innocent... at the very least it’s WASTEFUL to have the government buying expensive hollow point bullets for people to train with shooting paper targets.
In a country that is going broke that cant even afford tours of the white house, I would think buying less expensive bullets for employees to target shot with would be a high priority!
It’s obvious she doesn’t know what Drudge does.
