I'm basically located in Boston, and I am very upset about the Marathon bombing, but I have to say I have had the same thoughts.

A few dead people in Boston, with many wounded? National tragedy. The press can't get enough of it.
A few dead people in Texas, with many wounded? Yawn. The press has more important things to talk about.

The media is all about propaganda and manipulation. Sad things happening in Texas don't fit any agenda the media is working toward.
