I’m glad she survived but this is yet another reason we should all be allowed to carry 24/7 with no questions asked.
I have a fenced yard for my dogs so they can’t get out but other things, such as rabid coons can still get in.
There’s a gun by the back door just for that.
I *never* walk around the mountain empty handed.
Life happens.
Do they know who owned the dogs?
Nail ‘em.
[I’m hoping somebody checks out the ‘dropped off dogs’ story *and* tests the other dogs for rabies]
This is precisely why George Zimmerman bought his little Kel-tech: to protect him and his wife when they went out for walks and had to ward off unruly dogs roaming the neighborhood. He wanted to use pepper spray, but a cop friend told him not to waste his time and to get a gun....the rest is history. Will leave the punchline for someone else.
Obviously, from the story, nobody owned the dogs; they were abandoned, feral, and probably starving.
