BREAKING NEWS: One of two suspects in the shooting of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer has died and a massive manhunt is underway for another, who is believed to be tied to the Boston Marathon bombing.
Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis said early Friday on Twitter that one of the two suspects in that officer's shooting was killed. He said the at-large suspect, labeled by the FBI as "suspect two" in the marathon bombing, was "armed and dangerous."
"We believe this to be a terrorist," Davis said in a press conference. "We believe this to be a man who's come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody."
The Middlesex district attorney said the two men are suspected of killing the MIT police officer on campus late Thursday, then stealing a car at gunpoint and later releasing its driver unharmed. Hours earlier, police had released photos of the marathon bombing suspects and asked for the public's help finding them.
The suspects threw explosives from the car as police followed it into Watertown, according to the district attorney's news release. The suspects and police exchanged gunfire, and one of the suspects was critically injured and later died while the other escaped.

Kids who get student loans go on spring vacations, buy cars, rent places they can't afford, go out to eat all the time, buy pressure cookers, ball bearings, and when about to graduate and are hopelessly in debt they see society is a problem when the problem is them.

There’s a lot of action still happening in locating the suspect in the white cap. The last I heard on the radio was that the authorities had found a stolen car that they were hoping would give new leads. Car had bombs in it. Last they reported he was headed back 10 miles to the scene of the marathon. Don’t know though what actual time all this took place.

There seems to be a lot of disconnected information on the radio.
One report said they had the suspect in custody, handcuffed, and there is a video of him, naked, being led to a police cruiser, apparently uninjured. Thirty minutes later I heard on the radio that the suspect was taken to a hospital where he died of wounds (one of the doctors described the wounds as gunshot wounds and blast wounds with burns and shrapnel). So, either the naked guy taken into custody is an entirely different person, or something happened in the police cruiser.
