Haven’t scrolled all the way down yet, but has anybody mentioned how incredibly good the FBI and CI work was, to ID these guys not just on video, but actually get their identifying info in less than 5 days? FReepers have been criticizing all week - let’s give them their due.

The problem is that once you allow government the power to declare who is, and is not, "mentally ill", with grave consequences for the determination, you get MASSIVE issues once corruption, injustice, incompetence, and politicization gets involved in the process... which would take all of about a month to begin.
Look at Child Protective Services right now. Half the time, they remove a child from a home improperly. The other half, the fail to rescue a child just before really bad things happen. They score very, very few "victories", and can never know when they did their job perfectly (which I would define as removing a child just before something really bad happens... because how would they know that it was about to?? We don't have a Pre-Crime Division... yet...).
Having a Mental Health Adequacy Department would be far worse, on may levels. Especially once you realize that most on the Left look at most on the Right as if they are deranged, and most on the Right look at most on the Left as if their political beliefs are more like a zealous cult religion than a political philosophy (which I do, LOL).

It would appear that the Liberal wet dream that the bombers were “Caucasian Males” came true. Chechnya is in the heart of the Caucasus Region. You can’t get more Caucasian than that.
