Considering their age and intelligence differences, I think it more likely that the Sod is an accomplice or, at minimum, a patsy. Thus the rush to get him out of the country in a hurry. He wasn't supposed to have survived.

Supposedly, per a mechanic who was working on one of their cars, the brothers were driving all sorts of expensive vehicles & changing them frequently. Haven’t heard of any visible means of support so [speculation:] perhaps a role for the Saudi would be to provide the bankrolling?
