In truth, EOs only affect those branches/departments of government directly under the Executive Branch. Think of it as a department head or division chief of a company sending instructions to his underlings.

It is a means to potentially cause mischief...at the same time, it’s nowhere near divine-right-of-kings grade supreme power.

The last time I looked the Constitution left the purse strings for every department up to the Congress.

Totally CLOSE (defund) the Rogue Departments, who by the way probably are not legally constituted to begin with.

DownSize DC by purse strings.

yes technically they are orders only affecting employees of the executive branch.
