At first read of the title, I thought she was being ridiculed for being a lezbo in the WNBA which I always thought was an entrance requirement.

Oh, she was picked on as a kid growing up. Get in line chikie (OK, maybe that doesn’t apply to this particular person) but name one person in the history of history, who wasn’t picked on as a kid. Some even had the extra benefit from having an alcoholic father who liked to beat their kids up (I’m not talking about me, I’ve never seen my father hammered at anytime in his life), so guess what, we’re all in the same boat so get over it, join the WNBA or write a book which Oprah will fall all over her big self to promote it.

She could be another Maya Angelou, in other words, she sucks but since she’s black, lets give her a book (or what she might call poetry, we normal readers just think it’s a jumble of words strung together and you either get it or you don’t, I don’t). I know why the caged Gerbil screams.

But above all please shut up. I’ve had things happen to me which would make her ‘story’ too treacly for Lassie.

Re: 40

LOL! I guess I'm not the only Maya Angelou fan out there. I've read some pretty good poetry in the past ... I'm not sure what I'd call Miss (or Mrs) Angelou's scribblings. To each his own, I guess...
