Although he acknowledged the need to pursue the "remnants" of the terrorist group and its affiliates, the overall message was clear – al-Qaeda was badly degraded, the tides of war were receding and the US was winning this fight that was no longer even officially a war. The Boston bombings would appear to present a fundamental challenge to that assessment and once again bring the nagging uncertainty of terrorism back on to the American main street. It is too soon to be absolutely sure the attacks were motivated by jihadist ideology, but the Islamic videos on the website of the older of the two Tsarnaev brothers point very firmly in that direction. They bring home the complexity of the global Islamist threat and the fact that it cannot be confined to wars in distant lands, or fought at arm's length using drones, as the Obama administration has quietly yet insistently led America to believe. The word “ashen” comes to mind.
“Act of terror” is all 0bama will say.. “These guys”, etc.. NEVER “Islamic extremism” or “Terrorist attack”
The problem is Zero thinks he can “talk to” the Islamist and get them to behave properly. The plan seems to be Zero will create world peace due to his “awesome” personal powers of persuasion, then he can gut the military to pay for his socialist utopia.
If must be a bummer to be dragged back to reality when things go boom. It’s even more astounding that Zero’s lack inability to provide security for US citizens continues to go unreported.
The world is safe? Who thinks that? Even the most thin-wristed liberals have locks on their doors.
I think it was Americans who lulled themselves into thinking we could make the world like us by replacing the "evil" Bush and the GOP with Democrats. The fact that AQ attacked us on numerous occasions during the Clinton years was ignored by the MSM and forgotten by the voters as they begged the world to love them by voting for Obama.
The Chechens should have nothing against America and Americans. They have a bone to pick with Russia, right? So why should two of them attack Americans? It’s because they subscribed to world-wide Jihad by Muslims against all non-Muslims.

The Guy in the White House thinks he can control the Muslim pit bulls. He cannot, they will turn on him, but not sure if it will be before or after he’s let them attack us.

Even my wife didn’t know that Chechens are largely Muslim (despite the news over the last 10 years) and a population at war with (and losing to) the Russians at several hundred terrorist dead bodies a year.
