"The FBI interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011 after a request from a foreign government, US law enforcements officials have confirmed. But agents closed the case after finding no cause for concern.
In an interview on Russian television, the mother of the two suspects said the FBI had been in contact with her son for several years.
It is not known which country made the request, but the BBC's Paul Adams in Washington says it is likely to have come from the Russians."

If this oversight had happened under a republican adminstration, THIS would be the only story this morning, talking points would be prepared, congress would be calling for an emergency hearing. The events of the past week would be the secondary story. There is no doubt in my mind.
Whose passport was he travelling under. Not a US citzen, how could he have gotten a Russian PP if he had been in US for 10 yrs? Something aint right.

What did several FBI interviews indicate about this guy, who made the call, and most important of all is how is the policy of Obama working out because the basis of that has been demonstrated to be a failed idea causing gruesome deaths to American citizens.
What did Obama and Holder know and how did his foolish policy towards Terror shape the choice to do nothing with the greatest terrorist to America since bin Laden?
When you lead, you are accountable for the choices and outcomes that transpire from those decisions.
Obama will not be able to use the Benghazi template to avoid accountability for the Terror attack on Boston.

Talk to anyone who has a clue that was in Afghanistan or Iraq. A lot of Chechens showed up to fight our guys. Tough guys, good fighters was the assessment of a Marine I was talking with about it earlier this weeks.
They did the same thing in NJ. They held press conferences and acted like they had stood back all of the damage. Meanwhile, people are displaced in the dead of winter without food, water or shelter.
They are so desperate to not look like the stooges during Katrina that they rush to the cameras to yell at people, “Look at us! We are here doing what you pay us for. Don’t ask for budget cuts or we may not be here next time.” They don’t even realize that they were not effective the entire time.
Sickening is all I could say watching that award ceremony last night. If they (government) had done their job in the first place, this may not have happened at all.
What did the Russian Security Services do or not do while Tamerlan was in their country? Is it possible that the Russians allowed Tamerlan to return to the USA in their expectations that eventually he would commit Ismalic terrorism?

The whole nation (and the world) watched this Jihadist horror unfold for days. The hideous images speak for themselves. Normal activities and public transportation in a major Amercan city virtually ground to a halt for an entire day. Now it comes to light that despite the fact that law enforcement had previous knowledge of one of the bombers, he was not identified in time to prevent a second rampage and additional loss of life.
This is way too big to be swept under the rug.
