Yes, they did.
I was listening to the police scanner Thursday night. A police officer mentioned to someone at HQ that he had seen a very good photo in the hands of another law enforcement agency. The person at HQ radioed back and asked if he was able to get a copy. The police officer said that the other LEA had refused to give him a copy.
Exact quote from the HQ guy in response:
“That’s just outstanding. Let me make a phone call.”
I heard this firsthand on the scanner sometime between 11pm and 12am EST.
I heard they got good photos from the ATM machine or 7-11 where car hijacked.
