I’ll respond to any damned thread I want to anytime I want to without any concern for what you think of it and you can go do something involving an uncomfortable posture, although you might like it.

The only tragedy is that they were in this country at all.

#37-—very good and appropriately tough rhetoric.

Yeah, I agree with you. My heart first and foremost goes out to the victims of this evil, senseless act. After grieving for them the last week it hit me that It IS sad that this kid had such bad influences in his life, and was most likely easily swayed. There was a brand new pic of them, on another forum, standing in the crowd and in it the younger brother’s countenance looks pretty troubled.

Glad he was caught alive too. If not just to see some kind of retribution handed down, but to perhaps get information out of his as to the why’s and who else’s.

It is a defeatist attitude, and one I personally have found unpleasing to God, when you rationalize doing, or not doing something, simply because you know you can never be perfect. We are, that is if you’re a Christian, called to TRY and be “perfect” or Christ-like. In other words, I cannot forgive certain acts of evil people either, but instead of wallow in it I do pray that God give me some kind of path to forgiveness because I know that He does not want for us to have bitterness in our hearts.

And we'll have to suffer through seeing his face on the six-o-clock News for at least the next twenty years

LOL! I was telling my wife how we'll still be hearing how Boston is "healing" a year from now. I could write the story already:

[cue video of survivor performing some mundane daily task]

[cue voice-over]"...It was a year ago that _____________(fill in name of tragedy survivor) had his/her life changed forever in a senseless tragedy/day of horror/calamity that this tight-knit/proud/peaceful community still struggles to deal with/recover from/comprehend."

It’s time to start aggressively deporting these imams and shutting down their mosques. They’re not non-profits.

At this point he has the best coverage money can buy, paid for by US, of course!

I guess that if we get good information out of him, it’s worth it...

I'm still wondering why Boston gets the news coverage. May not have been an "accident". I just couldn't determine it an accident that quickly.
