Rubio has sold out to the GOP establishment. They think adding millions of new democrat voters is a good thing.
They just aren't plausible given the governments past performance on similar bills.

Rubio is not naive. As Speaker of the House of Florida, he constantly blocked legislation to curtail illegal immigration. He knows exactly what he is doing. The PTB thought a pretty face would fool the people. Apparently it fooled enough in Florida to get him elected.
