I suppose that if he addressed them in the right style of Spanish, talked to the hardworking Catholic/Evangelical people who have nothing in common with the baby-killing, packer/muncher welfare RAT types...maybe he could divide that so-called demographic, and pull a portion of them into the R column.

You seem unable to grasp the premise - Spanish speakers are not an undifferentiated mass, and mere language does not override cultural, regional, class, racial, ethnic and political differences. Mexicans living in the US are not fooled or swayed by an adopted accent or borrowed colloquialisms. Their ”rechaso” re Rubio comes from what he is - a white Cuban not on board with the Castro regime. The ”Catholic” Mexicans and Central Americans living here vote Dem. There are many reasons why. Learn about them before you opine.
This group would likely speak English. No need to kowtow in espanol.
