If I understand correctly, the uncle is saying that though they said they did it in the name of Islam, they really did it because theyre a couple of losers. Well Unc, I appreciate your thoughts but Im gonna have to say Islam had a LOT to do with it.

"You put a shame on our entire family -- the Tsarnaev family -- and you put a shame on the entire Chechen ethnicity," Tsarni said.

Yes, but don't expect our government officials to mention this.

It’s dismissive to label them losers.

Excerpt:

“So expect in the coming weeks the same old commentary about foreign-policy blowback, or two-bit psychological analyses of personal trauma, or Israel’s sins and Bush’s wars, or American intolerance and xenophobia, or our need to “reach out” and “engage” and “respect” and “understand” the fanatics who don’t want our outreach, tolerance, or respect, but our deaths. In short, expect more public reasons for the jihadists to believe we are weak and corrupt and thus deserving to die.”

And, Uncle, if islam is truly a religion of peace, then you have a serious PR problem on your hands.

They were doing what Wahhabi Islamic doctrine dictates they should.

Excerpt:

In 2007, a young Bosnian Muslim named Sulejman Talovic–within six minutes–shot nine people in the Trolley Square mall in Salt Lake City, killing five people and seriously injuring four others, before being shot dead by officers.

As he was opening fire on victims, he shouted Allah is great, and the night before the massacre he told his girlfriend that “Something is going to happen tomorrow that you’ll never be able to forgive me about”, and that this day will be “the happiest day of his life and that it could only happen once in a lifetime.”

Before he came to America, Talovic is said to have seen a vision of a white horse “with two beautiful eyes”, symbolism which is most definitely Islamic related.

Muslims from the Balkans and the Caucasus are some of the most zealous and violent followers of Islam. After the Ottomans conquered them, they were the most loyal warriors for the cause of the Caliphate. They are bigger in stature, and tend to have more inclinations to brutality than their follow Muslims in the Middle East.

The Chechen jihad is amongst the most momentous of the Islamic world, and in the Syrian revolution a good amount of Chechens are fighting against the Assad regimen. One journalist gives this description of the austerity and reclusiveness of the Chechen jihadists in Syria:

// The Chechens were older, taller, stronger and wore hiking boots and combat trousers. They carried their weapons with confidence and distanced themselves from the rest, moving around in a tight-knit unit-within-a-unit. //

The Muslims of Eastern Europe are not quite like those of the Middle East, and Americans are going to have to start getting used to hearing of terrorists attacks coming from these very people.

I spent a lot of time in the ‘netherworlds’ back in the 80’s.

It is their obligation to lie to protect the rest of the family and to try to deflect any responsibility bak to it from the actions of another member.

It is an obligation to lie to Infidels!

There’s a % of the human population that is capable of these things, and given license to do so by their society’s authority figures, will happily commit these acts. So it’s important that society not sanction mass violence like this, or if they do sanction mass killings that it be carefully cordoned off ritually from the rest of life in that society, usually in uniformed military attacking other uniformed military. I’m glad Uncle Tsarni tells it like it is, but there is a problem in Islam and a problem in Chechnya that some, and too many, people think this sort of thing is really quite ok.

Today’s excuse from the uncle is they had a handler who brainwashed them, and the younger brother fell under the influence of the older.I could get whiplash watching this guy’s stories changing. Uncle, aunt and both parents speak vehemently on any subject. It’s time for the press to stop giving them a platform.

Just trying to deflect attention away from him. His anger could be at being exposed.

One had a scholarship; another was training to be an Olympic boxer. In fairness, they are not what I would call losers. They could have been planning this for years and went into action last week like those old Communist sleepers.

alleged actions

There we go again with those unsubstantiated "allegations". But isn't the uncle "alleged uncle" and his nephews "alleged nephews". What is in the world of modern journalism not alleged, I ask?
