I'm not so sure about that. Look how stupid these two were. The younger kid went back to college and was just hanging out. Looks like what freaked them out was when their pictures started being plastered all over the news and Internet. You would think that as soon as they planted the bombs they would have had a flight booked a week previous and have been on it flying out of the country before the dust had a chance to settle. Hard to believe that they wouldn't have been aware of cameras in the area that would probably have recorded the event. Not to mention people's personal cameras and cell phones. If they were that stupid, how smart are the people that trained them?

They acted like they wanted to be found. Burglarizing a 7-11 when everybody knows to be looking for you? Car-jacking and then letting the person go so they could call the cops?

I’m not sure why they would want to be found, but their actions make it seem like they did.

Somebody claiming to know the plan in advance had posted on Monday that the perps would be caught on Friday, it would be a young guy they’d try to garner sympathy for, and they’d find NRA materials with his stuff. Obama saying that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions about motives left room for them to still claim to have found NRA stuff, although I think the connections to Muslim terrorism may be too solid already for them to go through with that plan, if that was their plan.

But it does seem like they wanted to be found.

I’m sure they asked their handler what to do after the bombs went off. Their handler probably said something like, “Don’t worry, guys. They will never suspect you two being involved in it since you look like the average, college-age, American joes. Just go back to school, hang out, relax, party, blend in, and have a good time. Yeah that's the ticket. These were just stupid, ill-trained amateurs trained by idiots. Tell that to the relatives of the the four who were killed, the 171 injured and maimed, and the one police officer still fighting for his life.

And just think of the hundreds of millions in costs expended by the taxpayers and in lost business as the city of Boston was shut down for a day.

This nonsense you are spouting seems similar to the disdain we had for the 9/11 terrorists--19 men with box cutters who have effectively changed our way of life and cost us hundreds of billions of dollars.

These guys were mere pawns, expendable just like a suicide bomber. It's results that count and they achieved their objective.
