What they have to explain is how this monsters were able to grow in Cambridge? This is the most Islamic tolerant place and liberal enclave in America and they still hated America. Their answer didn’t and doesn’t work.

If it doesn’t work in Cambridge it won’t work anywhere.

What I have seen so far on Fox is that we have learned nothing from this incident. The so-called professionals are laughing at the amateurish efforts of these guys. They just gloss over the sheer terror they were able to inflict. What kind of message does this send to AQ? You can expect an increase in such tactics and they will also learn some lessons on how to conduct them.

The Daily Mail in London is reporting that the FBI is looking at a 12 person terrorist cell. The question is whether we (the public) will ever get the real facts on what happened. This guy Mudd doesn't even want it called a terrorist attack.

The internet has exposed Aharbi and his cell that was working. This conspiracy has traction and proof for people to see. It will not go away and not on FR.

Pray for America to Wake Up

Your point is taken, but I think we should wait to find out more about the circumstances of the 2002 immigration before we jump on the blame Bush bandwagon. The bomber was not granted political asylum, his father and mother were and the bomber was 10 years old when he immigrated. We don’t have all of the back story on this yet. If it is proved that the Bush administration dropped some ball with this family, then we should have that discussion.

One thing we DO know is that under the Zero administration, a foreign government informed the US officials in 2011, that this man had terror connections. The Obama administration dropped the ball or worse, an enemy agent inside our government hid the information.

FNS

Juan Williams: We should not allow mentally ill and those with criminal records to get guns by passing background checks.

[lol. Unbelievable. Juan, criminals do not submit to background checks, if they want guns. They go the local dark alley and negotiate a price with the local dark-alley gun dealer. Juan, they don’t even pay sales taxes for those transactions!!!!!!]

Hayden is now shilling for immigration reform. He wants America to look like the rest of the world. This is insanity.

We do know that one of the 1993 WTC bombers was given amnesty under the 1986 Reagan amnesty. We really don’t know who these people are. And background checks are difficult depending upon which country they came from. It will be very easy to bring in foreign agents and give them “new skins” under an amnesty. They will then be able to travel freely on US documents.

Jane Harmon: "Keeping guns out of the hands of the wrong people"

Right, Jane, or teach them to read so they can read the "Gun Free Zone" signs.

The trouble with Libs is that they do not even understand the ridiculousness of some of their arguments.

**If it doesn’t work in Cambridge it won’t work anywhere.**

Excellent point. Add to it that these murderers seem to have gotten a lot of their life style as gifts of other taxpayers. Which has yielded only contempt, not gratitude.

She pissed me off with her gun control nonsense.

Billy’s not here but he’d have walked over to my kitchen perch and complained about that b**ch endlessly.

So I shouted out to the emptiness...”Come here and try to take my gun you” , insert bad name here, I shouted.

There’s is no limit to how much I despise these politicos and their silly gun control laws. I see the Senate got some sense knocked into it.

Here in Delaware they passed a really stupid background check law. A local Republican VOTED FOR IT!

I will do everything in my power to get him kicked out...take to bank.

Post of the day so far Bob.

This could well be the smoking gun that Glen Beck is talking about. We will find out tomorrow according to Beck. We now there are at least 12 other terror types on the loose. Seems all were members of the same mosque and as diogenes showed us earlier its all from the Saudis.

Some brilliant Freeping going on over the past 24 hours. Beck supposedly will reveal all this tomorrow. Could be explosive.

Pays to remember however the Saudis remain our masters. They have the ability to crush our economy anytime they choose.

All they have to do is stop pumping crude and crude prices will hit $150 a barrel putting gas at $7.00--economy in the tank real quick.

That would kill zeros popularity so they can't have that.Expect alharbi to be on that plane unless we raise all kinds of hell which is not likely to be covered anyway. A nation that is too dumb to drill its own oil gets what we have.

Agree. I also think the republican leadership would be stupid to focus on where and how we try this terrorist, when they should be focusing on the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of this administration and the executive branches of government and why our government has sought to downplay the Islamist threat in all formal training of our military and intelligence agencies.

I think they hate the filthy promiscuous atheists and packers more than any other kind of American...Even more than real Jews.

I look at it from the point of view of asking why the various categories exist. "Enemy combatant," except for wartime, is a new category. If a person is categorized as an enemy combatant (this label can attach to a US citizen, see Hamdi v. Rumsfeld), they have different due process rights compared with a criminal defendant. Those difference appear in may places, but amount to how much evidence is required to justify detention and conviction, as well as changing burdens of proof and persuasion.

Sometimes the person and their actions don't admit a clear cut case of pigeonholing into enemy combatant or criminal defendant, and the government has to make a judgment call as to which category (and resulting incarceration and trial process) it thinks best suits the situation.

The enemy combatant category works better when the evidence is weak, or obtained under practices other than police work, or the government wants to detain the person "off the battle field" for an indefinite period of time, relatively free from interference from the Article III courts. This sort of circumstance has the appearance of the government treating the issue as a military issue, not a civilian issue.

The downside to enemy combatant categorization is that the system is relatively untested, it's new, and opens up opportunities for all sorts of new/novel legal challenges. It's also much less publicly transparent, opening up opportunities for allies of the defendant (not just personal allies, but also some who may not be allies per se, for example opponents of military trials for civilians - be they citizens or aliens - and those who claim the government is targeting Islam) to claim unfairness, rigging of the trial, and assorted other PR hassles for the government.

Those hassles and downside are worth it, for some suspects. The decision is highly fact specific. In the Marathon bomber case, I think the evidence will be quite strong, and the civil justice system is well equipped to conduct a public trial. I think the case will move much faster in a civil courtroom, compared with a military court that associates with the enemy combatant categorization.

I also heard that Jane Harmon and Whinestein are introducing a bill to ban pressure cookers.

If they can’t ban them, cause owning pressure cookers is allowed by our constitution, they want to limit the amount of nails a person can buy to put into a pressure cooker.

I used to live on a farm oncit. We used pressure cookers to can vegetables.

I can’t imagine how those two managed to carry a pressure cooker around ready to explode in a backpack.
