I see one Shotgun in the first pic I might feel safe in firing. In the other pic with the article, ditto for one ‘chrome’ Semi-Auto in the pic which ‘looks okay’. But that’s just from appearance, they may not even work and would cost more to repair than they’re worth.
And from the pics of the ammo boxes turned in I wouldn’t even use those for paperweights (though at today’s prices you call sell almost any ammo).
At the last gun show I attended in March some older joker had a bunch of boxes of old hunting ammo (30-06 mostly) and was asking some very high prices.
All the boxes were rotted and the brass was tarnished and some corroded.
He said he had them in his attic for decades and thought he would make some big bucks.
I just laughed and walked away.
