I’m sorry for giving any offense, but that is just an incredibly ignorant, baiting question. Do you honestly think some preacher blesses a whole river for a Baptism? Where on earth do you live, to have remained so sheltered from how the majority in this country practice Baptism? We’re baptized with water, just as you are. Water.

Some serious questions for you:
- Do you ask God to bless you and your food before you eat?
- If so, do you believe God then actually does bless you and your food when you ask Him to like that?
- If so, and God really does bless you and your food when you ask Him to like that, is that blessing from God anything that you can see or taste or feel or detect in any way with any of your senses? How do you know that you and the food you are about to eat has actually been blessed by God?
