As an aside, I wonder if the terrorism attack in Boston last Monday, and the terrorism attempt on this week’s Monday, is a coincidence. Why Monday?
That wouldn’t surprise me. The large volume of what smoke at each of the explosions could easily have been from black powder, since that’s what it does when it ignites. All you need to do is go to a muzzle loaders’ festival and watch all the black powder smoke as they fire the guns.
It’s really suprising that the gov. has said absolutely nothing about what the explosive was and how it was detonated.
Some nitwit so-called “expert” on Fox said the billowing smoke indicated the substance was a “non-carbonaceous” explosive, pure BS since the fuel part of black powder is charcoal (mostly carbon) and sulphur. Also the fuel part of ANFO is fuel oil, which is also quite high in carbon.
