But this is a case of the government infringing on the rights of married people. This is a case of the government sticking its nose in the business of religion and society. Forcing these relationships that are not consistent with the definition of marriage to be recognized as marriage is just as intrusive as the government entering the gun store. If it were solely granting the right to do in the bedroom as they wished, that would be a different matter. It is a case of infringing on the rights of those who believe in the traditional definition of marriage.
