After Einhorn killed Holly Maddox, Arlen Spectre claimed he wasn’t a flight risk, and he promptly fled to Europe and had plastic surgery, avoiding arrest for decades.
Kudos to Lynn Abraham, the courageous Philadelphia DA who spent most of her two terms tenaciously finding that disgraceful piece of turd and bringing him to justice.
As for Benedict Arlen, we should pass a Constitutional Amendment to never, ever let any former criminal defense lawyers run for Congress or the White House.
I think I would be tempted to expand that to ALL lawyers, regardless of specialty. And then along comes someone like Ted Cruz. :)
