I just got a low point in my stomach after hearing this on the radio news. He could have been questioned by the counter terrorism intelligence and then handed back for processing through the courts. I guess he will end up in Colorado prison and being interviewed by Oprah. He’s not a kid. The media has already begun his defense; it’s his age/mental illness. They now will wait until more are murdered before they act accordingly that we are at war with radicals.
He’s an American citizen who committed crimes on American soil. He’ll be given a trial in an American court and left to rot (or executed) in an American prison.
The alternative is a “some-citizens-are-more-equal-than-others” system in which fair trials are no longer a right everyone has, but a privilege the government gives to the elite.
