Oops! You’re right — it was land held by the Boston Redevelopment Authority, not the Housing Authority. In any case, though, not Menino’s personal land to sell at far below market value!
It was a valuable investment for Boston. Just look at the diversity it has encouraged. Only in America can a poor Chechen boy grow up to as effective a terrorist as a wealthy Saudi.
